Zetas, or "Large angry hairy man" as he is called in Oldouvian, was not bore from a womb as most mere mortals come into this world. Ney, my fellow Globonauts, he was born from a pile of left over SPARC machines, Coffee and DDT which baked in the hottest parts of Silicon Valley.

Upon entering the netherworld of IRC, Zetas fought brilliantly and bravely in the Troll Wars of '99, crushing his enemies with superior fire power from his OC3 DDoS turrets of Doom. After the war, he forged himself a sleek, gunmetal computer desk from the helmets of the fallen internet scum.

We're finally live! Took us a bit longer (ok a lot longer) then we had hoped, but there was so much involved that even our conservative timetable couldn't contend with.

All services are up, all existing user's have had the new details e-mailed to them, and everything should be just the way it was for everyone.

We will open up activations for new members soon, hopefully by tomorrow at the latest, we want to make sure the migration went off without a hitch before we start adding brand new people.

Today is the day ladies and gentleman. We will be working all day to migrate users and data, during this time the following will happen:

The server will go down while all users, data, and services are migrated. This includes the shell, the znc bouncer (public and all private ones) and obviously anything anyone has running on the shell will go away too.

Once everything is migrated and setup properly the new server will come up and we will allow access to both EU and US, you will be required to stay on whichever server you picked in your profile (eu or us) this is not able to be changed later on, so update it now before we are done moving everyone. The only time you are able to use a server thats not the one you picked is if your server has gone done for some reason and it is recognized by the admins.

On first login you will all have to change your passwords, you can set it to the same one you had before if you wish, the constraints are the same, but we changed the underlying encryption scheme so they all have to set again.

We expect this process to take most of the day, however the server will only be down for a few hours. We will announce it here as well as in IRC when we get ready to take the server down.
